Lisa co-founded StratovationTM Associates, Inc. after working with IdeaScope Associates and Creative Realities, two pioneering firms in innovation process.
She has worked on initiatives domestically as well as as far away as Moscow, Beijing, Japan, Stockholm, Germany and the U.K. She has focused experience in healthcare and healthcare devices, consumer packaged products, test and measurement instrumentation, computing and printer technology, building materials and educational board retreats. She is
certified in administering and analyzing the Myers-Briggs Type
Instrument (MBTI) and the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI),
two leading tools in identifying team thinking and personality
dynamics.
Earlier in her career, Lisa worked in product management for Frito-Lay Inc. in their Plano, TX headquarters as well as in the paint and coatings industry for 10 years with SCL Sterling in Massachusetts.
Lisa earned her BA in Psychology from Trinity College in Connecticut and her MBA in marketing from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. Lisa currently serves as the Fuqua School of Business representative on the Duke University Alumni Advisory Board. She is also past-chair of the Fuqua School Alumni Council and a former trustee of Kieve-Wavus, Inc., an educational organization in Maine and the Pingree and Tower Schools in Massachusetts, where she served on the Executive Committees.
Gayle Jay, Managing Principal
Gayle is a seasoned professional with considerable experience in creatively leading senior corporate teams to Breakthrough Strategies, New Innovative Products and Services and Organizational Transitions.
Prior to co-founding StratovationTM, Gayle spent nine years with IdeaScope Associates, a global innovation management consulting firm. Gayle served as an Officer, Board Member and managed the West Coast operation. Her contributions included delivering strategic innovation initiatives, developing and managing client relationships and mentoring and managing IdeaScope consultants.
She is a member of the American Management Association and the Association of Strategic Planning. Prior to IdeaScope Associates, Gayle worked at Dolphin Multi-Media serving clients in Silicon Valley, California. She managed large sales meetings, consulted and advised senior executives, gathered and managed creative teams, wrote speeches and coached presenters.
Gayle earned two undergraduate degrees; a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and in International Business both from Portland State University. She is known for her invigorating energy. She volunteers time working with abused/neglected children, enjoys a good tennis match, loves to bake, tends to her roses and likes to hit the ski slopes. Gayle resides in Anaheim Hills, California with her family.

Laurie Tema Lyn has a passion for innovation and more than twenty years of experience in helping teams uncover breakthrough opportunities. A pioneer in applied creative problem solving and strategic innovation, Laurie has led case teams to create compelling product ideas and strategies in industries such as: foods, financial services, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications and many others. She has mentored and trained dozens of professionals in the art and science of business creativity and strategic visioning.
Laurie is the author of several articles on innovation and qualitative research; has been a guest lecturer at many business schools, including Harvard, MIT, Babson, and Northeastern, and is a frequent presenter at industry conferences, including the QRCA and the Institute for International Research.
Erik Noyes, Academic & Strategic Advisor
Erik Noyes
Erik is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at Babson College
where he holds the Martin Tropp Term Chair. Professor Noyes completed
his doctorate at Boston University. He has a B.A. from Brown University
in International Economic Relations, and an MBA (with a concentration
in strategy and innovation) from the University of New Hampshire.
Professor Noyes' doctoral dissertation examined Interlocking Boards and Patterns of Corporate Entrepreneurship among Standard & Poor's 500 Companies.
Erik's professional background and research both focus on corporate
entrepreneurship/strategic renewal, corporate innovation, and corporate
new venture creation. His ongoing research examines the roles of
networks in corporate new venture creation, entrepreneurial opportunity
recognition, and the diffusion of knowledge about best practices in
corporate entrepreneurship.
At Babson, Professor Noyes teaches Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship and New Ventures. Additionally,
he has taught both Strategic Management and General Management at the
undergraduate level, as well as MBA seminars on innovation and new
product idea generation. Prior to joining Babson, Dr. Noyes was a
Senior Consultant with a growth strategy and innovation consulting firm
where he consulted with companies such as Nokia, Hewlett-Packard,
Motorola, BMW, Guidant, and New Balance. He also founded a venture, Market Art,
which developed custom, business-themed art pieces for innovative
companies. His experience includes research and analyst work in
technological innovation and advertising communications.
